Step into Swim - Who We Are

The Step Into Swim™ Campaign is a 10-year initiative to create 1 million more swimmers. Organized in 2012, the campaign raises funds that are directly given to leading learn-to-swim organizations.

Government agencies, members of the industry, medical professionals and insurance companies encourage increased activity through swimming. Supporters of the campaign believe that investing in the next generation of swimmers – for fun, for fitness, for family safety – and teaching people of all ages and ethnicities to swim, is essential to improving the health and safety of this and future generations.

The gift of swimming opens the door to a spectrum of aquatic activities, beginning in childhood and extending through life. Thanks to the vision of the NSPF Board of Directors and the generosity of members and donors, the campaign has given the gift of swimming lessons to thousands of children through its partner organizations.
